Feeding People | Saving Lives
My Father’s House has been serving the communities of Cape Town, South Africa, since 2020 with a holistic focus on the physical, mental and spiritual health of the poor and vulnerable.
Our focus is on feeding people and saving lives.
We feed around 2000 vulnerable people daily, mostly children the elderly, and provide support to the vulnerable and homeless.
Hot Meal Delivery
We partner with some amazing organisations and individuals to deliver meals to the vulnerable all over Cape Town.
People Living on the Street
A hot meal and access to social services and opportunities are what we offer through our Resource Centre in Simon's Town
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
Our Approach to Homeless Rehabilitation
Too many are stuck in a continuous loop of despair and angst, not sure how they will survive the next few hours – let alone the coming week.
My Father’s House has adopted a programmatic approach to caring for and rehabilitating the homeless and vulnerable. By working with a small dedicated team we have proven that this is a system that can work. We have got people into shelters, proper jobs and reunified with families.
Born out of partnerships and a need to put an end to the suffering and hunger that many felt at the start of the hard lockdown, My Father’s House is also seeking to provide a pathway out of the stranglehold that homelessness has on many of the citizens of Cape Town.
Every day we see the impact of our partners’ generosity and investments. We invite partners to join our purpose of caring for the poor and vulnerable.
We have various ways to support and encourage you to contact My Father’s House to find out how you can get involved. Together, we can make a difference in our communities. Get in touch to find out how you can support our work - or join the team!
